My Mother and Other Strangers (2016)

War can change your life, but life after war can bring about serious change as well. That is the theme of the TV drama series My Mother and Other Strangers. Set in 1943, the show follows the Coyne family and looks into the lives of this family, their friends, neighbors, and others who all struggle to maintain a normal life when a U.S. Air Force base is built in their small rural town.
