Monsieur Ibrahim (2003)

The place is a working-class neighborhood in 1960s Paris, a time of flux in a landscape that was changing its face. Two outsiders, an abandoned Jewish boy and a lone old Muslim man, are tossed together by fate. The pair grows as one due to the natural adhesive of human kindness and the wise elder’s instinct to pass along an appetite for decency and trust to a truth-seeking youth.
