Mistress of the Apes (1979)

A fine female searching for her missing husband decides to turn some caveboys into cavemen in the wild Larry Buchanan missing link film, Mistress of the Apes (1979). Unrelated to the far better Planet of the Apes (1968) series of films, in this one stacked fluff kitten Jenny Neumann stars as Susan Jamison, a blonde anthropologist who weathers a gruesome miscarriage before scooting off to the African jungles in search of her missing husband. The only trace of her hubby is his camera, full of film that captures a tribe of ape men: prehistoric humanoids who appear to be the missing link between the monkeys and modern man. With her friends Paul (Garth Pillsbury) and Laura (Barbara Leigh) behind her, Susan eventually meets up with the early humans, but struggles to communicate with them. After seductively eating a banana, breastfeeding one of their babies, and even boning one, in time Susan learns how to use body language to ask them questions. Where'd her husband end up? Does she even care now that she's getting some good missing link up in her pink?  You know Cro-Magnon men needed Magnums! Well, when a gang of evil poachers show up looking to hunt the ape creatures, her mission to save her hubby ends up sidetracked for saving the creatures she's come to love!
