Mes nuits sont plus belles que vos jours (1989)

After inventing a new computer language, Parisian programmer Lucas (Jacques Dutronc) learns he is dying in the romantic drama Mes nuits sont plus belles que vos jours (1989). Also known as My Nights Are More Beautiful Than Your Days, Andrzej Żuławski’s French flick is based on Raphaële Billetdoux’s same-named novel which received the Prix Renaudot in 1985. Of course, our prix were rewarded with images of Laure Killing, Myriam Mézières, and Sophie Marceau. The latter actress plays Blanche, a clairvoyant who sheds her threads as part of her act. Quick, let’s get tickets to her show! Since she is being exploited by her mother (Valérie Lagrange), Blanche wants to get away — permanently. As such, she takes a liking to Lucas and together they head off to the coast to enjoy their last days on earth. Indeed, the two walk hand-in-hand from the beach to their watery end. But before Blanche takes her last breath, she takes her clothes off — a lot! We first see a bit of Ms. Marceau’s mams when Lucas removes her dress at the 43-minute mark. Just two minutes later, Sophie shows off her bush and butt. Merci beaucoup! Breast of all, Soph drops her towel to share her full-frontage and derriere as she heads to bed for humping. The banging continues in the bathroom where we see buns in the mirror. Nice rump reflection! Suffice it to say, this tear-jerker will have you jerking off. In other words, you’ll need a box of tissues to watch!
