Meine Frau Susanne has already secured itself a place in German TV history by becoming the first show ever to be broadcast from the TV channel “ZDF.” Nevertheless this family series wasn’t continued after its first season, which was initially shown between the 5th of April and the 23rd of August 1963. It centered on newlywed couple Susanne (Heidelinde Weis) and Martin (Claus Biederstaedt) and their everyday experiences with marriage. The first episode, for example, centered on them moving into their new apartment, while the second confronted Susanne with the task of having to admit to her husband that she can’t cook. Sadly this remained her only nude scene ever. Personally I really would have loved to see more of those outstanding rocket-launchers…
