Marguerite (2015)

Catherine Frot’s portrayal of Marguerite, a woman so overtaken by the joy of singing that she doesn’t realize she’s terrible, is equal parts hilarious, devastating, and heartwarming. Oh, and she shows her boobs and butt! Marguerite (2015) follows our wealthy, titular character as she rises to fame for her voice. Except, people are coming in droves to take amusement in the disillusioned singer’s off-pitch tunes rather than any sort of talent. Marguerite proves that ignorance is bliss, and as her star rises, she doesn’t question her skill, and instead simply enjoys the rapturous feeling that music provides her with. If you’re looking for some MargueriT&A, check out her bathtub boobs and old timey photo butt!
