Biography

Born in Mexico and raised in Kenya, Lupita Nyong’o is a heavenly mixture of cultures. And with a degree from Yale’s School of Drama, Lupita is not only smart but she’s just plain sexy. The petite actress made an impressive television debut, playing the confident and beautiful Ayira on the MTV mini-series Shuga. We’d love some sugar from Lupita, especially after seeing her boob-baring, butt-flashing appearance in the emotional drama 12 Years a Slave (2013). We’re slaves to nudity, but since the critically-acclaimed film revolves around such a painful part of U.S. history, it was difficult to really appreciate Lupita’s skin-tributions. A more pleasant view of the actress's body has escaped our capture, however; Lupita's kept her clothes on despite her career taking off. After her Academy and Anatomy Award-winning turn in 12YaS, Lupita secured a role in the action blockbuster Non-Stop (2014) before awakening the force in all our pants in Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015). Just kidding: she plays perhaps the least skinteresting role of all, a computer generated alien in desperate need of moisturizer. She reprised this Mr. Wrinkly Skin role in Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017), Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019), and in the animated series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny. Lupita was her human self again as Nakia in Black Panther (2018) but stayed in her tribal attire. She shows lots of skin in The Jungle Book (2016) but it's as Raksha the wolf. Lupita, you're killing Us (2019).
