Love Unto Death (1984)

Love Unto Death (1984) follows Simon (Pierre Arditi), an archaeologist whose brush with momentary death and revival derails the steady romance he shares with Elisabeth (Sabine Azéma), leaving life as they knew it shattered without repair. One point of contention is the fact that Simon refuses any further medical tests even as the possibility of death, (the permanent kind), looms over him. Meanwhile, their close friends Jérôme and Judith Martignac, two clerics, debate each other over the merits of holding a funeral service for a villager who committed suicide. There's not much to report here on the nudity front, but Sabine does seem to go braless in a red top that showcases her picturesque pokeys.
