Little Darlings (1980)

Baby girls are so eager to grow up when they hit their terrible teens, and that’s one of the things that makes them so easy to love. In the mind of the typical hormonally charged child turned woman, the concept of growing up is generally entwined with the notion of shedding one’s virginity, hence the central plot point of Little Darlings (1980). Middle-school dream dates Ferris (Tatum O’Neal) and Angel (Kristy McNichol) are rival alpha chicks from opposite sides of the tracks who are thrust into one another’s orbits during sleep-away summer camp. Angel's the hoodlum from the streets, Angel's the naïve but ready to conceive rich girl. Naturally competitive to a degree that only the ready to fornicate females of the species ever reaches, the two budding vixens engage in a contest to see which can bust her cherry first. But while they'd surely have the full selection of erections, Ferris wants to get off all day with the camp counselor Gerry (Gary Callahan) while Angel has her eyes on opening her thighs for fellow camper Randy Adams (Matt Dillon). But while they think they're all set to get wet, over the course of the summer our two girls find out that sex and romance are complicated. Plus, in the midst of their battle with each other, they become best friends. That friendship never turns into some summer camp sexperimentation, which is a little disappointing, as is the fact that Kristy never christens the movie with some skin. But we do get to see Tatum show em when she slips a nip while nearly drowning in the pool. Whether you're supposed to say it or not, some teenyboppers are absolute showstoppers like the sex obsessed chicks in Little Darlings!
