Liebestraum (1991)

Liebestraum (1991) is directed by Mike Giggis and stars Kevin Anderson as a teacher and writer on architecture who is visiting his dying mother in the hospital. There he runs into an old school chum played by Bill Pullman, who is in the process of razing the most interesting building in town, an old department store. Anderson saves Pullman’s life in a construction accident, and ends up at his house for dinner, where he meets his wife, played by Pamela Gidley. There’s chemistry between the two and we have our conflict. Pamela is a photographer and she works with Anderson to document the old department store, which only facilitates their burgeoning relationship.
