Le réveillon des bonnes

Set during the Christmas season immediately after the armistice that ended World War I, the French TV mini-series Le Réveillon des bonnes follows the inhabitants of a three-story house, from the maids on the first floor to the wealthy aristocrats on the top, as they struggle to cope with the loss of family members during the war. A shot of Sophie De La Rochefoucauld’s right boob helps somewhat to lessen the pain.
