If you have to make a movie debut, one that’s going to leave an impression both on the minds and pants of your audience, then it’s a good start to work with a director as renowned as French tart Laura Duke Condominas did. She landed the role of Queen Guinevere in Robert Bresson’s Lancelot of the Lake (1974), the stylistic film about the fall of Camelot. The emotional acting, the sparse and haunting vision of the epic legend is all well and good for film credits to give their kudos, but Mr. Skin can’t get one image out of my head: Laura’s perfect posterior. For the next ten years Laura appeared in less than half a dozen movies and TV shows but never showed off her true talents again. That may be why she eventually passed from the screen after appearing in La Nuit porte jarretelles (1985).
