Last Night (1998)

Last Night (1998) is a Canadian comedy-romance-drama—they sure pack a lot of entertainment into movies north of the border. It’s about a bunch of very different individuals with varying ideas on how to spend the last day alive, as the Earth is predicted to end with the turn of the century in six hours. Sounds grim? But it’s not. It’s written, directed and even stars Don McKellar and at the tender age of 36, and it’s not even his first. He has a resume of experience behind him. The movie is filled with odd moments like director David Cronenberg playing a gas company executive who spends his final hours calling customers to thank them. Add Karen Glave tits and Tracy Wright’s boobs, and you have a winner.
