Not to be confused with the Saturday Night Live character of the same name, Ladies Man was a short-lived crap sitcom about furniture maker Jimmy Stiles Alfred Molina and his relationship with his two daughters, wife, ex-wife, mother, and mother-in-law. All of the women in Jimmy’s life are apparently in cahoots to drive him nuts (insert canned laughter here). If the premise sounds lame to you, then there are several million viewers and a few network execs that agree with you, since the show lasted a scant season and a half before the furniture maker and his ladies were dropped into a pine box. The only thing noteworthy about Ladies Man is that it featured Sharon Lawrence, who gave us a buttload of back door nudity on N.Y.P.D. Blue. While she boasts a more than presentable backside, most viewers could have done without seeing Dennis Franz’s ass alongside of hers. Ladies Man also starred Kaley Cuoco, who currently plays the smokin’-hot blonde teen that loves to run around in belly shirts and thongs on 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter. Only in TV fantasyland could a girl that hot have come from the loins of Katy Segal and John Ritter. If those two tubs of goo had a kid, it would probably look more like Andy Richter. Pray that the show gets cancelled--not just because it’s lame but because maybe her career will go belly-up soon and she’ll join the sorority of softcore skin.
