Review

In La Prisonnière (1968), a bored housewife grows weary of her cheating artist husband and starts spending more time at the art gallery of a friend. Delving deeper into her new friend’s collection, she finds a secret cache of disturbing and erotic photographic images. Rather than stop there, she gets more involved, eventually abandoning all her hard-won ethical pride and hitting rock bottom.
