La ley de la frontera (1995)

A lady journalist searches for an infamous bandit along the border of Portugal in La ley de la frontera (1995). In early 20th-century Spain, Barbara (Aitana Sánchez-Gijón) is a reporter searching for the infamous El Argentino (Frederico Luppi) along the remote Spanish/Portuguese border. Along the way, she meets two men, João (Pere Ponce) and Xan (Achero Mañas), who claim to know the location of El Argentino's hideout. But can Barbara trust these two confirmed criminals?
