Review

You never get a second chance to make a first impression. That’s why the movie debuts of ingénues can be so crucial. These beautiful babes never want to view “introducing [and forgetting]” as their first screen credit. Luckily, that wasn’t the case for Lauren Bacall who first came to audiences in the film noir classic To Have and Have Not (1944). The same can be said for Kathleen Turner in Body Heat (1981). And before masses of fans had funny boners while meeting Cameron Diaz on screen in the comedy The Mask (1994), Jamie Lee Curtis aroused the weenies on movie goers via Halloween (1978). Meanwhile, across the pond, foreign audiences were wowed when Loredana Cannata showed off her comic timing (among other things) in La Donna Lupo (1999). Also known as The Man-Eater, the lycanthropic film marks the debut of this Sicilian sexpot. As a female werewolf, Loredana is as likely to perform oral sex on men as she is to eat them alive. What a way to go! Thanks to Aurelio Grimaldi, who previously directed the Palm d’Or Award-winning pic The Whores (1994), this flick doesn’t skimp on depicting explicit sex scenes. Indeed, the fellatio on Arturo Paglia’s body double and cunnilingus given by actor Pascal Persiano are totally un-simulated! As such, we get to see Ms. Cannata’s naked cans, ass, and blonde snatch in the bed, bath and beyond. Throughout the film, the skintastic actress repeatedly reveals her breasts, bush and butt. No wonder we’re howling at her moon!
