L’Arbre sous la mer (1985) translates to The Tree Under the Sea and tells the story of a geologist who visits a nearly deserted Greek isle to study a petrified tree. But soon his flesh branch is hard as rock when he sees the happy fisherman’s daughter who lives on the island and enjoys swimming nude with the dolphins. That’s sort of like the gangster curse, but the only thing dying are the sperm that shower the scene as a tribute to Eleni Dragoumi’s nude abandon. Abandon all hope, he who lusts here, for Eleni is the kind of naked spirit sure to give more than a geologist wood.
