Kids in America (2005)

One of the classic staples of the teen sex comedy is rebelling against an authoritative principle, and such a fertile field is well harvested in the update of the genre Kids in America (2005). The film is ripe with tips of the hat to its hilarious ancestry, such as the topless swimming-pool scene from Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), executed with sexy appeal, if not clothes a-peeling, by Stephanie Sherrin. It's a sweet, almost innocent, entry into the usually more ribald world of teen sex comedies, but no less enjoyable.
