Intermedio (2005)

Two childhood friends and their significant others get caught in a scheme to smuggle a cache of drugs across the U.S.-Mexican border in the atmospheric horror flick Intermedio (2005). Malik (Edward Furlong) and Wes (Callard Harris) figure that by unloading a stash of primo narcotics they’ll be able to make enough cash to leave their trailer-park lifestyle behind. Girlfriends Gen (Cerina Vincent) and Barbie (Amber Benson) tag along to help but quickly wish they’d stayed home, as the smugglers’ tunnel is revealed to house the ghosts of perished victims. Fortunately Vincent’s kind enough to don a tight-fitting tee and low-rise pants in the shabby crawlspace, meaning that there are plenty of treasures uncovered below ground.
