Two friends hitchhike to Paris in search of true love in the Italian comedy In principio erano le mutande (1999). Imma (Teresa Saponangelo) and Teresa (Stefania Rocca) are besties whose professional and personal lives are a mess. Teresa, who's in love with a French jazz musician, persuades Imma to hitchhike with her to Paris; there are plenty of Frenchmen to go around in the City of Lights, but Imma is too busy pining away for the hunky firefighter who saved her from a fire many months before. Then a miracle happens and Imma re-meets her dream guy, but will the reality of their relationship live up to the fantasy? If Teresa's soapy ta-tas in the tub are any indication, then this fantasy femme is bound to live up to all sorts of SEXpectations.
