Less scathing than scintillating, the anti-clerical satire Il Prete Sposato (1971) takes on the faux-celibacy of the Roman Catholic clergy in twinkle-eyed fashion. Lando Buzzanca stars as a country priest who’s reassigned to a sinful urban parish, where he’s introduced to a mouth-watering young courtesan (Rossana Podestà). Unable to bear the thought of a life of celibacy, the man-of-the-cloth eventually succumbs to the prostitute’s advances. Fortunately Podesta isn’t the only sinful fruit hanging from the tree of carnal knowledge--Barbara Bouchet flashes her ample bosom for the horny priest in a pair of titillating scenes.
