Hot Summer Nights (2018)

Hot Summer Nights (2017) is a coming-of-age story starring Timothee Chalamet as a boy spending his summer in Cape Cod in the 80's and getting into the wild world of weed dealing. He also gets into the wild world of seeing Jessie Andrews play piano topless. Her perky side nip is music to our horny eyes! Jessie is sure to make your summer night very hot indeed. Hot Summer Nights is rated R for drug content and language throughout, sexual references, and some strong violence. Unfortunately, sexual references will never be as enticing as the real thing. Nonetheless, this flick is is an extremely stylish and confident directorial debut from Elijah Bynum. If you enjoy stories of innocent youngers who get swept up in something they think they can handle but instead end up ruining their own lives, this movie is absolutely one that you should check out. Viewers will be impressed with the beautiful cinematography, great script, and the occasional thoughtful, character-driven moment. The acting across the board is superb as well. Elijah Bynum channels some of cinemas great directors including PTA and Scorsese both in camerawork and ability to elicit incredible performances from his actors. Hopefully when this talent has an opportunity to direct another film he will be given free reign to show off as many naked ladies as he wants. In the meantime, Hot Summer Nights is a perfectly fine way to spend an evening at home. There's an engrossing story and a little bit of nudity, what more could you ask for!?
