Honeymoon Suite

Morey Amsterdam. Charles Nelson Reilly. Darren McGavin. Rose Marie. If the mere mention of these 60’s TV stars brings back fond memories of late-night chuckles (an admission I’d keep to myself), then Honeymoon Suite is a short-lived comedy series for which you may have a mild admiration. The central gag here was that each week a new collection of characters checked into the same hotel suite. Kinda exactly like The Love Boat, only this one came first. Hardly the worst series of its sort, though that doesn’t mean it’s something worth revisiting.
