Review

Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar’s drama High Heels (1991) stars Marisa Paredes as a woman who returns to her home after spending several years acting in Madrid to find that one of her ex-boyfriends is now married to her grown daughter (Victoria Abril), a TV newscaster. Now mother and daughter have to repair their relationship and deal with the man caught in the middle. You’ll want to make your own addition to the string of pearls around Victoria’s neck when her dress slips down to reveal her brown-tipped A-cups as she hangs from a beam.
