We've got some angelic anatomy nude on Blu-ray this week, like Kate Winslet and Melanie Lynskey as scheming Sapphic teens in Heavenly Creatures (1994), Toni Collette spreading Ziggy Stardust in Velvet Goldmine (1998), and the Japanese jugs of Annu Mari and Mariko Ogawa in Branded to Kill (1967). Not nude, but still sexy, on DVD and Blu-ray are Dragon girl Rooney Mara in the schoolgirl drama Tanner Hall (2009) and Sandra Vergara showing off her thongtastic family ass-ets in Fright Night (2011).

Also nude on DVD, sex and death are kissing cousins for the femme fatales of Little Deaths (2010):

Based on a true story, Heavenly Creatures (1994) stars Melanie Lynskey and Kate Winslet as Pauline Rieper and Juliet Hulme, a pair of teeners who go from friends to co-conspirators when they carry out a plot to kill Mel's ma. Peter Jackson's film follows them from first meeting to final gruesome beating, beginning at their school in Christchurch, New Zealand. Mel is an angry, imaginative, working-class sort who doesn't much like any of her classmates until high-born Kate (and her lovely sweatermates) transfers in from England. The dreamy duo gets cozy quickly, creating elaborate fantasy worlds that fuel their art and their friendship. But it's not long before both sets of parents are worried about the unusual closeness of the kids. What better way to stop your parents from taking your friendship away than to kill them? Both Mel and Kate bare boobs taking a bath together and get sexy sexploring their Sapphic attraction in bed.

Exhibitionist gay guys with an artistic bent have many redeeming qualities. Apart from being sparkling conversationalists, wielders of rapier wit and stylish dressers with a wealth of valuable grooming tips, gents of the bent persuasion are also magnets for chicks eager to indulge in inventive sexual experimentation. Witness the pert, nipple-baring birds who flock about the flamingly alternative leading man of director Todd Haynes’s Velvet Goldmine (1998). Loosely based upon the rise and descent into depraved excess of glam-rocker David Bowie, who openly flirted with bisexuality throughout the 1970s, Goldmine is a musical melodrama that is not for the bi-squeamish. Most of Velvet's full-frontal and buttock exposure is of the male variety, though the buns and breasts of Toni Collette are compact, fully contoured joys in a shadowy bed-top tussle.collette dvd

Step inside a surreal world of pop art, jazz, and assassins in Branded to Kill (1967). Joe Shishido stars as Goro Hanada, the #3 ranked hit man in a mysterious yakuza organization. Goro desperately wants to become the “#1 Killer,” but spends too much time sniffing boiling rice and sleeping with hookers to rise in the ranks. After botching an important job, Goro meets an eccentric woman who surrounds herself with dead butterflies and, thanks to his wife’s treachery, the current #1 killerthough not under the circumstances that Goro was hoping for. With BW nudes from naughty Nipponese actresses Mariko Ogawa and Annu Mari, Branded to Kill will make your glands spill.

Think all-girls boarding schools are only good for topless pillow fights and communal showers? Well, they are good for that, but they’re also good for self-discovery in the indie drama Tanner Hall (2009). Rooney Mara stars as Fernanda, a wealthy boarding school student whose life is shaken up when her childhood acquaintance, trouble-maker Victoria (Georgia King), appears at posh Tanner Hall. But Fernanda is more than capable of getting into trouble on her own- just check out her totally inappropriate relationship with older man Gio (Tom Everett Scott). Rooney strips to her bra making out with her man, and Georgia and Amy Ferguson get maddeningly close to nude taking a lesbionic bubble bath. Tanner Hall will make you stand tall (in your pants, of course).

The vampires are still living next door in the horror remake Fright Night (2011). This version of the 1985 classic stars Anton Yelchin as Charly Brewster, a teenager who suspects his neighbor Jerry (Colin Farrell) is a vampire responsible for the deaths and disappearances rocking their suburban community. With his pal Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) egging him on, Charly enlists self-proclaimed vampire killer Peter Vincent (Jeffrey Tennant) for help. The clueless crew breaks into Jerry’s house to look for evidence, but the vamp is soon on to their game, leading to a bloody final showdown.Sandra Vergara (Sofia Vergara’s sister) shows off her pneumatic pedigree in bra and panties throughout the movie, most notably a thongtastic rear view at the 1 hour, 4 minute mark. Plus, Imogen Poots is good enough to eat as high-school girlfriend/vampire bait Amy, stripping to her bra and panties 1 hour, 37 minutes in. It'll scare you stiff!

Three short films explore the connection between sex and death in the anthology horror movie Little Deaths (2010). First, a rich and religious couple lures homeless girls to their mansion for sick sexual games in House and Home, then we go inside the twisted mind of a Nazi death doctor and his human guinea pigs in Summer’s Blood, and finally we climax (pun, as always, intended) with the SM revenge fantasy Bitch. If you like your flesh sessions all tied up with leather and rope, then you’re bound for a skin-filled treat. First, Holly Lucas gets fully nude as a kidnapping victim and Siubhan Harrison strips to her underwear as her captor for a kinky lesbian scene in House and Home. Then, Jodie Jameson bares boobs getting it doggy style on a bed in Summer’s Blood. And speaking of doggy style, Kate Braithwate is really great as she’s tied spread-eagle to a bed and covered with dog food in Bitch. Hear that? That's the Little Deaths of billions of sperm.
