Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

When Marvel Studios announced they were turning one of their more obscure pieces of intellectual property into a movie, few could predict the smash hit turned iconic piece of sequel spawning cinema that some comic book called Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) would become. Going on to become the then third highest grossing MCU film, the movie follows the adventures of Peter Quill AKA Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), a human abducted from Earth in the 1980s after his mom died. While he still clings to his eighties references and a Walkman full of seventies hits, Peter has become an intergalactic criminal and hustler with a reputation for being quite the ladies' man. After stealing a mysterious orb, he finds himself pursued by the lethal assassin Gamora (Zoe Saldana), the green-skinned hulk Drax (Dave Bautista), a cybernetic raccoon named Rocket (Bradley Cooper), and a walking, one phrase talking tree named Groot (Vin Diesel). After realizing their interests overlap, together they team up to save the galaxy from a ruthless killer named Ronan (Lee Pace), who will stop at nothing to acquire the orb and wipe out an entire planet. Our ragtag group of heroes save the day, only for Peter to realize he's only half human, setting the stage for future adventures. There's nothing all that sexy in this galaxy, but in the closest thing we get to a skin scene, Zoe Saldana's character Gamora is jettisoned from a ship and left to die in space, and the outfit she's wearing shows off some sensational cleavage, leaving very little to the imagination! Wish we had some more-a that Gamora good stuff! That's one Guardian that will make you hard-ian!
