Gods of Egypt (2016)

The big budget non-blockbuster Gods of Egypt (2016) made headlines for all the wrong reasons when first released, but thankfully it’s here on Mr. Skin for all the right reasons! In the time of ancient Egypt, gods were on average 4 feet taller than humans and could morph, Power Rangers style, into their alternate identity at the drop of a hat. The cruel Set (Gerard Butler) overthrows the king to become ruler of Egypt, and his reign brings despair to all the land. Mortal Bek (Brenton Thwaites) and god Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) are the kingdom’s only hope, and must embark on a perilous journey to overthrow Set.
