Giovanni oder die Fährte der Frauen (1989), or Giovanni or the Scent of Women, is a made for tv German slapstick comedy about a doctor who has a bit of a problem with women. He is secretly in love with a patient named Zerline (Anja Kruse) but does not know how to win her over. He enlists the help of his friend Don Juan in order to try and woo her, but of course, Don Juan falls in love with her as well, leading to all sorts of zany mishaps as both men compete for her affections. Anja Kruse is the kind of woman you can imagine two dudes fighting over, especially once you see her in her sexy see-through nightie. Anja's umlauts are barely hidden by the lacy red camisole she wears under her ridiculous black leather jacket, and you will find yourself similarly tempted by her feminine wiles! This ravishing red head makes up for all the ridiculous slapstick in the film, and may have you slapping your stick before you know it!
