Ginostra (2002)

Ginostra (2002) is a Cosa Nostra drama about FBI agent Harvey Keitel's trip to Sicily to figure out who murdered an informant and his entire family, save for eleven-year-old Mattia De Martino. Harv brings along his wife, Andie MacDowell, and their five-year-old daughter, Danielle Marie Valenti, and together the threesome takes in the sights of the mob-dominated volcanic island of Ginostra. But when Harv tracks down Mattia and brings him back to their pad, the secrets Harvey's been keeping from Andie and their spawn start to bubble up like lava in the volcano across the way. Harv's attempts to convince Mattia to testify against the baddies meet opposition in the form of crooked cops, mean mobsters, and the sisters of Santa Hinostra, a nunnery where the main baddie's mistress (the always luscious—even when showing no tuchis—Asia Argento) is hiding from Uncle Sam. Look out for Harry Dean Stanton as Harv's secretive amigo.
