From America's admirably more permissive neighbor to the north comes the TV series G-Spot, the story of a B-movie actress named Gigi—beautifully embodied by Montreal-born knockout Brigitte Bako. The show picks up after Gigi returns to Canada from Hollywood and then decides to give show business another go, only to be confronted time and again by Tinseltown's less-than-welcoming attitude toward women once they turn thirty. Compared by many to Sex and the City, G-Spot focuses on Gigi and her female compatriots as they talk, laugh, drink, and explore the possibilities that life has to offer—many of which, fortunately for us, are sexual.
