Directed by Cristian Mungiu, this movie is tense. There is no music until the end credits and everything continuously propels in more drama. It's the kind of movie that answers the question 'can it get worse?' with a resounding 'yes'. Set in 1987 Romania undercommunist rule, a young woman helps her roommate get a back-alley abortion which was very dangerous to get. Before they start on that tense journey, we briefly see sideboob when the girls are in their room at the beginning of the movie.
It's all bush from there. Laura Vasiliu is pantsless on a bed for the doctor to examine her. We're examining her, too, by carefully eyeing her pubes.
Her friend Anamaria Marinca is the selfless heroine of the movie who goes to great lengths to help her friend. She helps us out, too, by entering the bathroom in a bright green top and nothing else.
She also washes in the bathtub, bending over to show ass and backburger.
