Gold Bird is a Japanese film from 2002 that featured Romanian gymnasts Corina Ungureanu, Lavinia Milosovici, and Claudia Presecan. A comedy about gymnastics that has nudity? Was this made specifically for me? It was made for all of us to enjoy watching Melissa Rauch star as a bad girl gymnast who is giving Tonya Harding vibes but for splits and cartwheels. She has been resting on her bronze medal laurels for years now, but she regains hope in the sport when she is asked to coach an Olympic hopeful played by Haley Lu Richardson.
Melissa also wrote the script which means that she also wrote the hilarious nude scene in which she and Sebastian Stan have very aerobic sex. It's not actually them. It's their body doubles (shoutout to Michelle Derstine), but I imagine that this is what sex in the Olympic Village is like. This scene gets the gold!
Blue Thunder
Blue Thunder is not explicitly a gymnastics movie. It isn't a sports movie. It's a movie about helicopters. So how do flexible females come into the mix? I'm so glad you asked!
Anna Forrest practices her floor routine on her own carpeted floor while completely nude. It seems like she'd get rug burn from that, but I can tell that Anna doesn't have much of a rug of her own.
