Fashionably L.A. (1999)

Fashionably L.A. (1999) tells the story of the women who move to Los Angeles with dreams of stardom, not in the movies, but as models. They’re more pure than actresses, in that they have no lines, need no backstory, but deliver everything they got in one flash of the, well, flash. Shot in a faux-documentary style to give it authenticity, both in black-and-white and then bursting into color for the fashion gigs, the movie focuses on five struggling models, one of whom is the writer and director of the film, Tamara Olson. We got to hand it to her, but we’re too busy handing it to ourselves, as all the principle players here are seen in various states of undress. Busty blonde Jenya Lano bares those big boobs within 15 minutes of the movie’s running time. While Tamara, at 23 minutes in, is teasingly hot dancing in a French maid’s costume. She shows her T&A, which is the TOPS.
