Review

Expose (1975), or The House on Straw Hill, is a thriller of the erotic variety, which is, of course, the best kind. What makes it also the breast is the addition of 1970s British sex symbols Linda Hayden and Fiona Richmond. It even had a male lead that we can get behind, not for skin but for his general over-the-topness, Udo Kier. He plays a drunk writer, which is sort of an oxymoron, but we are willing to suspend more than our disbelief for the pleasures within this torrid tale. Basically, he had a bestseller out the gate with his first novel and is now agonizing over the sequel. He seeks seclusion in the English countryside with girlfriend Fiona and typist Linda. He isn’t getting much work done, though, spying on girls masturbating and all, but it’d make material for a great book or an even better masturbatory fantasy to get the engine going. You engine will purr with the steady fuel of T&A pumped into this picture.
