Color-by-numbers Mexican telenovela about a trusting lady doctor who ends up engaged to the wrong fellow. Andres sees Suzanna as nothing more than a very profitable meal ticket, as the lovely lady doctor comes from some serious family money. After Suzanna is duped into thinking her fiancée is dead, she finds herself stranded in isolation with the potentially creepy Professor Del Valle. Needless to say, they slowly fall in love, and since this is a telenovela the accent is on “slowly.”
