Enter the Dragon (1973)

Even after his untimely death at the age of 32, pop culture icon Bruce Lee continues to be one of the most influential martial artists of all time. Lee’s final film, Enter the Dragon (1973), premiered just one month after his death in August of 1973. Considered to be among the greatest martial arts movies ever made, the action flick kicked ass at the box office, earning more than 400 times its budget! This kinetic and brilliantly choreographed movie follows muscular Lee as he enlists in a fighting tournament that’s been organized by a ruthless, one-handed crime boss called Han (Shih Kien). The R rated classic includes Angela Mao Ying, Betty Chung, and a young Jackie Chan who gives an uncredited performance as a minor henchman. Indeed, Lee’s real objective in this pic is to infiltrate the mobster’s drug operation. That is, when he’s not knocking out the competition in the tournament or sharing the screen with plenty of exotic knockouts. The same can be said for a martial artist and gambling addict named Roper (John Saxon) who lets Han’s secretary Tania (Ahna Capri) walk all over him. In fact, the busty blonde shows off her Ashiatsu skills as well as her polished toenails when she gives Saxon a barefoot back massage! If that’s not stimulating enough, Ms. Capri also touts her white panties and nude boobies before straddling her man in the sack. No doubt, Roper is about to get busy with Tania. Enter the Dragon? More like Enter the Woman!
