The gorgeous Emmy Rossum left Shameless and left us all wondering what she'd do next. Well, she's wasted no time. The brunette babe who would take off her top over and over on the Showtime show is playing an iconic Los Angeles legend for her next project.

If you don't know about Angelyne, it's a fascinating story. She was a mystery to LA for years, known more colloquially as "the Billboard Girl" because of a billboard that was erected in the early 1980s that featured the busty babewith big '80s hair. In the blank space on the billboard, it read "Angelyne". There were different versions of the billboard, but the message was always the same: Angelyne. On the bottom lefthand side is her phone number or one to reach her at anyway. This was up for years all around Los Angeles without anyone really knowing who Angelyne was or what she did.
This is a fascinating story in LA and modern-fame-culture. Angelyne essentially self-marketed herself and became a local icon because she knew sex sells, but no one knew what it was she was selling. It was just...her. Angelyne! The Hollywood Reporter finally uncovered her identity in 2017 which revived interest in her local celebrity. It turns out that Angelyne is still as blonde, busty, and girl as she was when she debuted her billboards in the 1980s.
Now that the world knows who Angelyne is, it's time to really dive into her story. Emmy Rossum is here to do her justice and we can't wait to see it. We have a feeling we're about to see a lot of cleavage from Emmy as Angelyne!
