Don't Sleep Alone (1997)

The right hand knows not what the left hand does in the smoldering erotic thriller Don’t Sleep Alone (1997). Tim Andrew’s film stars Lisa Welti as a most unusual femme fatale--a sensuous blonde who seeks the aid of a police detective (Doug Jeffrey) after being victimized by a series of male attackers. The cop is initially skeptical about the claims, and as he probes the assaults he learns that the same deadly fate has befallen all of the aggressors. It turns out that the woman is suffering from an acute split-personality disorder that’s wreaking havoc on the lives of those around her. Fortunately, although Welti’s psyche is split, her body is gloriously intact. The actress struts her stuff in a trio of eyebrow-raising scenes, while Bonnie Stauch and Joyce Westergaard pitch in with a pair of pole-dancing performances.
