Don't Say a Word (2001)

After some thieves steal a rare gem in the film Don’t Say a Word (2001), they decide to double-cross their leader, Patrick, and take off with the gem to keep for themselves. Some years down the road, a psychologist gets assigned to help a disturbed woman named Elisabeth. It was all just a ploy for Patrick to kidnap his daughter, and to convince the psychiatrist to find out a secret code that Elisabeth has stashed in her head regarding the gem. The plot’s a little convoluted, but the effect for suspense works. Playing the young girl, Elisabeth, is Brittany Murphy, who gives us a little bit of upskirt while she’s going through a spell in bed. Although the plot of the film could have gone into more investigation on that angle, sadly it stayed focused on the story.
