Die Screaming Marianne (1971)

A naive young woman becomes the unwitting fly in a web of family intrigue in the Pete Walker frightfest Die Screaming Marianne (1971). After her parents divorced, Marianne (Susan George) was sent to live with her father (Leo Genn) in Portugal while her sister Hildegarde (Judy Huxtable) stayed with their mother in England. Now their mother is dead, and Marianne stands to inherit not only a large sum of money, but also a cache of incriminating documents, an outcome that neither her sister nor her father is willing to let happen. Even her boyfriend gets in on the action! Speaking of action, there's not much to see here, though '70s mainstay Susan George looks lovely as always in retro lingerie.
