Die Reise nach Kafiristan (2001) is a German drama about an author and ethnologist traveling by car to Kabul. Both of these women are on the run and their mutual journey includes love and adventure and self-discovery. One of the things we discovered watching this movie is that Jeanette Hain has short hair. She has seductive eyes. She smokes cigarettes, which is hot, and swims in loose garments that slip off her fine shoulders to reveal her breasts. She likes to lie on coaches in her pajamas and pull the top off so her small wonders are beacons luring the lusty to her warmth. Men respond in kind. You will, too, in your pants.
