Die Fremde in meiner Brust (1998)

The German psychological thriller Die Fremde in meiner Brust (1998) begins with the death of Alice in a horrible car accident. After she is taken to the hospital, her organs are harvested to save the life of another young woman, Sarah. Once recovered, Sarah becomes intimate with Alice’s family, even going so far as to become friendly with Alice’s old lover. Sarah’s fierce desire to know the truth about Alice and the cause of her death leads to certain grim truths and an explosive finale.
