Des plumes dans la tête (2003)

The loss of her child drives a mother to madness in the impressionistic Belgian drama Des plumes dans la tote (The Feathers in My Head) (2003). Blanche (Sophie Museur) is a stay-at-home mom who, one lovely summer afternoon, takes her precocious young son Arthur (Ulysse de Swaef) on a nature walk from which he never returns. Blanche's husband Jean-Pierre (Francis Renaud) blames her for Arthur's disappearance, and as the couple grows further and further apart, Blanche retreats into a fantasy world where her son is still alive. Then a chance encounter with a young hermit (Alexis Den Doncker) leads to some major sexual healing; Sophie bares boobs and bush taking a bath and snuggling with her teenage lover. Feathers in my Head will put pressure on your zipper.
