Der Fall Bachmeier - Keine Zeit für Tränen (1984)

In 1981 Marianne Bachmeier killed her daughter’s murderer during the trial in the middle of a courtroom. Before the incident, she had a fairly easy life, one where she raised her daughter as a single mother and ran a successful pub in town. She usually worked most nights and slept during the day. One day while her daughter walked to school she was assaulted and murdered, and some of the town people blamed the mother for the lifestyle she led. A number of factors pushed Marianne to the brink, and it all culminated in her going to the courtroom to seek her own vengeance.

Marie Colbin plays the mother, whose name is changed for this retelling as Marie Sellbach, in Der Fall Bachmeier – Keine Zeit für Tränen (1984), or The Bachmeier Case – No Time for Tears. In one darkly lit scene, she’s completely nude and spinning around, giving the camera shots of boobs, beaver, and butt. No time for clothes!
