Dead Connection (1994)

Michael Madsen is a hockey player turned copper who's become a bit of a cooze-chasing boozer since his lady left him high and dry in Dead Connection (1994). Mike's after crazy Gary Stretch, a wacko wretch of a boxer who's been putting the KO to women all over the city. The dead dames are showing up in cheap motels, and Mike's hint that his man is a pugilist is in the list of aliases: they're all names of famous fighters. Assisting Mike in his case is Lisa Bonet, a boner-worthy journo who spots a connection between the current slayings and a rash of knockouts from the past. But is Lisa up to more than giving her readers the score?
