Days and Nights (2014)

Days and Nights (2014) is a reimagining of Anton Chekov's The Seagull, updated and set in rural 1980's New England. Set over the course of Memorial Day weekend in 1984, the film tells the story of an artist (Ben Whishaw), his girlfriend (Juliet Rylance), a famous actor (Christian Camargo) she's smitten with, and the tensions brought out in them by various other family members played by everyone from William Hurt and Jean Reno to Allison Janney and Katie Holmes. Sadly, the film is completely devoid of skin, though we do get to very sexy looks at Juliet Rylance in a bikini top! There's also a scene at the one hour mark where Allison Janney goes skinny dipping at night, but it's so dark and shot from very far away, making it impossible to make out anything! Better to spend your days and nights watching something with these ladies nude in them, like The Knick or Masters of Sex!
