Distributed internationally as Sexy Girls of Denmark, Dan Ma jiao wa (1973) is an atypically smutty Shaw Brothers concoction about a young Casanova’s fling with a sexy Scandinavian actress. Chung Hwa plays the ambitious young protagonist who foolishly allows a Danish porn star (Birte Tove) to steal his heart. Because the foxy blonde has no interest in running off with her Asian pursuer, Hwa accepts the next best thing--a Chinese-Danish beauty (Li Ching) who’s not immune to his advances. Nevertheless it’s always sad to let that top choice go; Tove looks absolutely ravishing as she cavorts nakedly through scene after scene, taunting Hwa with her amazing but unavailable curves.
