In the grand tradition of classic horror anthologies such as Asylum (1972), Tales from the Crypt (1972), and Vault of Horror (1973), Cradle of Fear (2001) weaves together four ghastly tales in one powerhouse package of eerie entertainment. Story one involves a goth hottie (Emily Booth) who beds down with one horny devil. Next up, lesbian thieves (Rebecca Eden and Emma Rice) who try, and fail, to keep one of their victims dead. The third episode chronicles Eileen Daly as the wife of an amputee who will stop at nothing for a new leg. The final piece is an exploration of snuff-film insanity. Cradle of Fear is a rocking exercise in fright, with some scarily sexy babes peppering the proceedings to make more than just your hair stand on end.
