Corrupción (1983)

Great Nudity!

Review

A well-to-do doctor (Gustavo Rojo) relocates his family to Mexico City only to discover that the hospital he’s employed at is home to all sorts of unscrupulous behavior. A dramatic thriller shot through with a strong political message, Ismael Rodríguez’s Corrupción (1983) explores issues of air pollution, overcrowding, natural disaster, and public welfare within the context of a gripping domestic drama. Of course if you’re in the mood for a completely different kind of corruption, well, there’s some of that too: Rosita Bouchot and Ana Luisa Peluffo are scandalously delightful in their breast-baring supporting turns.
